Willnice’s double-valve design operates on a simple yet ingenious principle. When pressure is applied by pressing down, the valves on both sides of the device, located outside the mask, open to facilitate exhaust, while the central valve remains closed. This mechanism prevents any air from being forcefully pushed into the mouth, eliminating the risk of pushing the fluids or foreign objects further inward.

In cases where the device is pulled up, the valves on both sides close, while the central valve opens to create negative pressure. This configuration generates a negative pressure, effectively creating suction. As a result, the obstruction is pushed outward and dislodged, providing a swift and efficient resolution to choking incidents.
